Kaitlyn & Clay’s wedding day was picture perfect!!! Sunny, blue skies with puffy, white clouds… Gentle breezes blowing through the green fields… We were in photography/videography heaven. Plus they are the best couple. We spend a lot of time with each couple on their wedding day. We are there for it all and do our very best to make sure you are able to enjoy your day. Spending the day on Kaitlyn’s family farm was a dream.
The day began at the bride’s house for a few “getting ready” details. Her sister served as the matron of honor along with her sister-in-law to be, and her dear friend. She surrounded herself with those she loved and knew her well. Their laughs were contagious. The wedding party was unique as Kaitlyn had 3 bridesmaids and Clay had 2 groomsmen. I loved that they didn’t worry about the “sides” being even. It was so much fun to hang around with this group that loved the couple and knew them so well. It made the day go by so smoothly.
The ceremony continued with touches of family and friends. The arbor was made from a tree cut from the property. Kaitlyn walked from her dad’s front porch through a tent of family and friends to the altar to meet her groom. It was a beautiful way to begin their life together.
The celebration continued at the reception. The families laughed, danced, and spent an evening celebrating Kaitlyn and Clay. And seriously the cutest dance floor I have ever seen… love it when the kids hit the floor and start the dancing off right!
