July is known for its sultry days, but Kayanna and John had perfect weather for their July 1st wedding. With temperatures in the mid 80s, the couple was able to utilize the State Capitol as the backdrop for their beautiful wedding portraits. They also added a whimsical feel by grabbing some ice cream at Central Dairy. They spent many date nights there and wanted to be sure to incorporate it into their wedding day.
The ceremony and reception were held at Capital Bluffs Event Center nearby. The couple chose beautiful summer yellows and blues to accent their day. It created a lovely summer feel and fit them both perfectly. Another special touch was their personal vows. Not only did they highlight their love for one another but they also expressed it in sign language. It was a beautiful sight to see and highlighted John’s beautiful family.
The couple danced the night away following the ceremony. They ended the night with a private last dance. This is always a favorite time for us to capture. The smiles, hugs, laughter, and memories made are priceless.
